This week in the spotlight are these sweet and spicy chicken wings with an unresistable pineapple hot honey glaze. Perfect for game night, parties or an every day treat!

Ingredients
For the Wings
● 500g chicken wings
● 1 tbsp olive oil
● 1 tsp garlic powder
● 1 tsp smoked paprika
● 1⁄2 tsp salt
● 1⁄2 tsp black pepper
● 1⁄2 tsp chili powder
● 2-3 tbsp oil (for shallow frying)
For the Pineapple Hot Honey Sauce
● 80g Pineapple Punch salsa
● 100g honey
● 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
● Juice of a lime
● Sesame seeds and lime wedges
(optional for garnish)
Preparation
1. Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel.
2. In a bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper,
and chili powder until evenly coated.
3. Heat 3-4 tbsp oil in a large pan over medium heat.
4. Place the wings in a single layer, skin-side down. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side, flipping
occasionally, until golden brown.
5. In the same pan, lower the heat and add Pineapple Punch salsa, honey, apple cider vinegar and
lime juice.
6. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
7. Return the crispy wings to the pan and toss them in the sauce until well coated.
8. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve with lime wedges on the side.
9. Drizzle extra hot honey sauce over the wings for even more flavor!
