Ingredients
For the Tempeh:
● 200g tempeh, cut into small cubes
● 1 tbsp soy sauce
● 1 tsp sesame oil
● 1⁄2 tsp garlic powder
● 1⁄2 tsp smoked paprika
● 1 tbsp cornstarch
● 1 tbsp water (if needed, to thin the
sauce)
● 1 tbsp oil (for frying)
For the Stir-Fry:
● 1 tbsp oil (for stir-frying)
● 1 red bell pepper, sliced
● 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
● 1 small red onion, sliced
● 1 small carrot, julienned
● 1 clove garlic, minced
● 1 tsp grated ginger
● 2 tbsp Mango Magic Salsa
● 1 tbsp soy sauce
● 1 tbsp lime juice
● 1 tsp honey
● 1-2 tbsp water (if needed, to thin the
sauce)
● 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp
water (for thickening, if needed)
● Lime wedges & sesame seeds, for
garnish
Preparation
1. Cut the tempeh into bite-sized chunks.
2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and cornstarch. Toss
with the tempeh to coat evenly.
3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan over medium heat. Pan-fry the tempeh until golden and slightly
crispy on all sides (about 4-5 minutes). Remove from the pan and set aside.
4. In a small bowl, mix Mango Magic Salsa, soy sauce, lime juice, honey, and water. Stir well
and set aside.
5. In the same pan, heat 1 tbsp oil over medium-high heat.
6. Add onions, bell peppers, carrots, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until slightly
softened but still crisp.
7. Add the tempeh back to the pan and toss everything together until well coated.
8. Garnish with sesame seeds and lime wedges.
9. Serve over steamed rice or noodles and enjoy!
